Shirley John, Patricia Benally and Kassaundra John
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – Canopy F
Shirley John and her daughters, Patricia and Kassaundra, specialize in beaded jewelry, appliqued shawls and pow-wow gear. Shirley is of Navajo, Hopi and Ute heritage. She was born in Monument Valley, raised her daughters in New Mexico and today they live in Clearfield. All of them, as well as Shirley’s three grandkids, enjoy pow wow dancing and they bead and sew both to create their own dance gear and to sell their art at pow wows.
