In the 19th century, women made bobbin lace to generate income while today lace enthusiasts enjoy bobbin lacing for its artistry and technical challenges. Elizabeth Peterson, a member of the Beehive Lacers, a group devoted to continuing this ancient art form has passed along her skills to her daughter and other studnets, allowing them to share this intricate and challenging art.
